If I am understanding your post, you are looking for a bean only planting machine. If true, I think a Kinze with interplant would serve you well. Just coulters without row cleaners will do the trick. I have a Kinze and know nothing about a gp. I initially used a wagon with telescoping auger to move seed. I called it my bean grinder and after the first year went back to the bag approach for the 23 units. Thinking of the money I am saving by not using a seed handler (big bucks) helps when filling the hoppers( I am still somewhat physically fit and loading beans will help you take off time from your gym membership). If you plant on top of the old corn row it will adversely affect the bean stand in the relevant area. Many plant at a slight angle to the corn rows to minimize (greatly) this issue.
