Subject: Yay!!!

I have two with Allison automatics and they are great for pulling out of fields, short runs to the elevator, and maneuvering the flatbed tank hauler around my farms. Just gently roll into the throttle when you want to take off and it will ease out of soft ground. Don't floor it from a standing start, you will break things, just like dropping the clutch on a manual trans. Compression braking works well too with the engine retarders. One drawback is mine do not have overdrive gears but I don't go over 62 mph anyway.

My friends have several "auto-shift" manuals and the one kind works well all of the time and the other kind will have a computer failure at any time, even crossing a 4 lane highway, and will need to be shut off for 5 minutes for the computer to re-boot and then it works again. Sorry I don't have the brand name of the bad one.
