SE Michigan | Had a 800 cyclo set up for not till ( dry fert). Use it with a 986 tuned / turbo's to 130 hp, in hard ground (untilled) it pulls it fine, but you know it's back there. One year the 86 went down, so I put it behind a 7740 MFD Ford ( 95 hp) it pulled it, but struggled in hard ground. Also using a 1000 pto pump with both tractors.
With that said, yes 80 hp probably would pull it........but I would not want to do it all day. | |
