Don't forget the front suspension has changed as well. Big radius arms much like Ford is using.

My '14 2500hemi is more stable @9500lbs than my '05 2500 Cummins was at 8000lbs. My '05 sat on the timbrens when it was empty (with flatbed) new truck doesn't show any sign of needing them. I wish they weren't so tall, the 14 is 3" taller than the 05, still thinking about cutting the coils.
