Chebanse, IL.....

Does your setup allow you to widen nozzle spacing? You don't say what it is now, but if you are 15" or 20", and go to 30" spacing, you can significantly increase the nozzle size to avoid the plugging. Either Hypro or TeeJet catalog will have spacing vs spray angle vs height above ground needed. Going to 110 or 140 degree nozzles (could be wrongly assuming you have 80 degree now) will allow you to lower your nozzle height & still go to larger orifice sizing.

However, if you're already on 30" ctr & have 110 degree nozzles, then my idea won't help you. Like Boog suggests, individual filters for each boom section will help. Also, remove that plug from the bottom of the filter container & replace it with a ball valve of some type to allow "power flushing". You'll never have to remove the cartridge for normal cleaning. Hypro now makes little "quarter turn" ball valves for the bottoms of the filter container. I think they'll fit either TeeJet or obviously Hypro filters.

That's my suggestion. Works here.
