I didn't disconnect anything, I ground (the act of grinding ;-) ) a clean spot on each mount and moved the ground to each mount as I welded. No problems at all. Anti zap thing has my interest though. I usually never have a reason to weld on a vehicle but I was cleaning up someone else's mess. Thanks for all the advice.
How do I safely weld on a truck?
