Southern Ontario | Trying to help a buddy out with his JD 7000 planter.
It won't unfold, and the Master solenoid (orange wire) gets hot. It's constantly getting 12V. Is that normal?
The other problem is he's only getting 0.5V to the "Fold Cylinder Piston Side"
Is there a way to unfold the planter without a functioning box? Can we apy 12V to each solenoid and run the hydraulics? Like to get the planter unfolded to check the harness for breakage/shorts.
