My preference out of the two would be the Deere. It's a real tractor verses a compact. I'd be looking at a M series Kubota as a fair comparison. I think you will find the 384 to be closer in weight to the 5065. Anything with less emissions gear will likely give less troubles in the long run.
M series like the M6060 or M7060 , M7040 would match the Deere closer.
Kubota M6060 or John Deere 5065e/5075e or similar.
