inspect the units, if all units are over seeding its usually a mistake on the operator.

how is he verifying to much seed? is he digging them up and measuring the distance? I test planters with the closing wheels held up. that way you can see the seeds and how they are being laid down, measure the distance between seeds, can measure 17.5' for 30 inch, each seed in one trench represents 1000 seeds per acre. in that 17.5 feet if you count 34 seeds you are putting down 34,000 per acre.
