Oregon | Wow. A unanimous ruling on NAT AGAINST an 8R. Never thought I would see the day.
Unless you are in a MUD program, you might consider saving another pile of cash by picking up a 9410r coming in from a MUD program with +/- 200 hours on it. That looks like about a $230-250 proposition right now versus +/-$315 retail.
(194 units listed for sale on Tractor House alone!)
At 200 hours, that is $425 per hour in depreciation costs (if you are paying retail) which makes the new retail option foolish without a volume discount.
Edit- I compared retail to retail so actually, the depreciation cost to the non-MUD customer is actually HIGHER than $425 / hr. for the first 200 hours because you are buying at retail and selling at wholesale. I compared retail to retail to reach $425/hr. and that is not a realistic comparison for the end user.
