You still never state which LED's you are referring to? PAR36 replacements? Sure, but theres a lot more out there than that. You can get spot LED's effective to over a half mile if you want.

Realistically many 35 and 55w HID's that many are buying can be easily matched with LED's.  

To set up the right lighting system for each specific tractor takes a little more work than slapping some HID's on if you want the LED's to compete or outperform them.  The right chips with the proper optics is important.  

HID's are definitely the easier way out and slightly less money but not by much.
