Northern Kentucky | I always look at the crank and other engine pulleys. Again if all of them have been replaced this method wont work but usually the crank is original. It also only works with v belt style pulleys. Compare the grove in the pulley to a tractor with known hours for a decent estimate. Learned this from a buddy who parts out CAT equipment. We use to make a game out of guessing hours when I would go with him to look at stuff. | |
