Howie.. I don't think VRS will be a good option as I am a long way (12+ miles) from the nearest CORS station. From what I have read for doing tiling work, I need a real base station within 2 miles or so for optimal performance.. I think the 12+ miles will give too much distance error.
..so since it is not advisable to mix brands when using GLONASS, does this mean that the CHC X91+ is actually a trimble RTK receiver, or at least has trimble hardware inside?? otherwise it would be mixing brands with my FM750.. am I thinking correctly?
What would I use the blutetooth in the X91+ for? the cell modem?
