Northwest Ohio

RyzUp is not a foliar feed per say. It does not contain any nutrients. It is gibberillic acid. Gib. is very powerful stuff at low use rates. It will take off (abscise) small fruit & blooms of vegetable plants, in a heart beat at the appropriate rate & timing. Plants produce adequate levels of gib. when the weather is warm & soil is moist. I know of several cases where applications of additional gib. during times like this has flattened corn (literally layed it down flat)! It would be best used under cooler temperature conditions with slower plant growth. Gib. is the natural plant hormone that causes cell expansion (blows up the miniature cells like a balloon).
