Ontario's middle east | Yogi, Been away today and I'm not exactly sure of my futures position tonight. What I can tell you is that it was short about a 1500bu beans and that is by circumstance not design. As I have said before I'm a basis trader and to me the futures market is just a tool to set a basis when we buy or sell grain. Our company policy is we hedge at +\- 2500bu because I don't bother with minis. I have no idea right now what level I'm short at. I was on the wrong side but I might be on the right side now, I don't pay a lot of attention to it as we win some and we lose some. It is what it is. For as much as I know tonight, the girls may have bought some today and I might be up to 2500 long. | |
