Subject: Fm 1000 as jd planter monitor question

Manitoba
Going to be using our FM 1000 to monitor our 8 row 1750 max emerge planter this year. it will take the place of a computrac 200 we lost in a fire last fall. in order to use it I have to buy a seed monitor module kit from trimble (already ordered) but one thing I can't seem to get a sure answer on is whether the cabling on the trimble kit connects to the harness coming from the planter (as in the 37 pin round connector that comes straight off the JD seed sensors on the planter or does it connect into the power module that was between the computrak 200 and the cabling from the planter sensors. ) the power module that was between the planter cabling and monitor was also burnt up. I don't want to buy another if I don't need it. Anyone know?

I put this in machinery talk as well just in case someone doing this already does not see it here.

Thanks.
