North End I-15 | Speaking of traps .....
Neat stuff called Ammonium Nitrate mixed with aluminum powder . (forget the name :>( )
Put it out on Gopher mound coated with Peanut butter . Wait till half dozen are feeding and ignite with a.223 round .
Years back (early 80's) a product called "Gopher COP " was available in UFA stores in Alberta .
A pint jar of it mixed with a gallon of oats was very effective .
OK .... So..... One day I am out checking crops on my 3 wheeler .Always kept a gallon can on the 3 wheeler to treat a mound if came across one . Just a pinch to the mound would have great control.
Just so happened I was riding a fence line along the pasture and crop area and throwing out quite a bit .
Stopped to have a chew (as in Copenhagen) Not thinking ,used the same bare hand , Boy does that residue give you a fluttering heart high :>) | |
