Eastern Shore of MD | I just had this conversation the other day with our consultant on non gmo corn. Due to the late spring we have not gotten our cover crop burned down and I am wanting to use glyphosate because we have had inconsistent kill with paraquat on small grain cover crops. His opinion was to try to do it soon after planting preferably before germination. I am a little worried since we have seen stunting...(particularly if you spray after germination and have a heavy rain event)... but not out right plant kill...but it affected the non gmo plants enough that I want to avoid it happening again. My thoughts would be prior to germination. | |
