In the mid-90's I planted a field, well part of it, and got rained out.  I don't remember the actual amount but 5+ inches and lots of other fields ran onto me.  It was under water for about 5 days (over top of beds) and it still made a stand.

On the other hand, in '12 planted and got a couple of inches, had to replant half the acres.
