New London, Wisconsin | I had one for about 4 years, but mine was relatively quiet and had a stock exhaust. It's the straight pipes on any vehicle that bother me the most. Idiot riders do bother me too. I bought mine partly for the gas milage, a 250 Ninja that got 78 mpg if you rode it right. I sold it because I tired of the risk of cars and trucks not noticing a bike, and I tired of every kid with a hot car, truck, or fast bike wanting to race me not knowing there was a grandfather under that helmet. Somehow Grandpa and Ninja didn't seem to fit together in the same sentence.
I never thought I would want one until I rode it. Had a lot of fun with it, my son and I each rode it, but eventually other interests took over. | |
