I wasn't thrilled with a pipeline. Not for any environmental reason, but for the simple fact that it is not in the countries best interest to export away our oil energy. Reality says oil is for sale to the highest bidder. So, if no one will challenge the EPA to allow refinery capacity to be built, the only logical thing is to send pipe lines east, west and south.

It appears our children will have to make the real energy choices in the next 30 years. We are probably off the hook.

The USA has plenty of Refinery Capacity. Utilization rates are at all time lows for this time of the year. Refined product usage has been dropping since 2007. You said it right oil is for sale to the highest bidder. Oil is being exported by refining it first.
