Northern CA | If you don't want to spend the money for a new Ford, I would go with the gas if I were staying Ford. We really like our 6.7, and kind of like you, had the 7.3 pickups and then made the big jump. However, if you are not going to tow much, we just bought for our farm manager a 2012 Ford F-150 with the 5.0 that had 12,000 miles on it. I cannot say enough good about it so far. It handles a pallet of seed and can tow a bumper pull trailer if needed. It also gets in the upper 17 mpg range driving around the farm / valley. We haven't taken it on a freeway trip yet. I think the new Fords ride extremely well and you will be happy which ever way you go. | |
