Subject: RE: Bagged starter fertilizer?

I have been using "bagged" in row fert. for the past two years in a 2x2 placement. Biggest problem I have found is getting it in the formulation my soil samples say I need. It also cost a lot more verses broadcast on a per acre basis. I am buying 10-20-30 for 14.50 a 50 lb bag. Using 5 bags per acre (250lbs) so it gets pricey. Still like placing it near the plant and not scattering it to the wind. I don't have anyone around here that will blend and bag for you so I have to buy what I can find. Good exercise loading it too. Still like it though.
