when you say PCC GMSK format you should also have an option to set the protocol to EOT or trimtalk450 if using the pacific crest PDL programming utility. both radios would need to be set on the same data protocol - trimtalk450, transparent With EOT etc. the problem is that transparent EOT for a PCC radio is different to Satel transparent EOT. i think you can set the later Satel radios to trimtalk450s. Also Baud rates / parity / stop bits would need to be set the same. probably 9600 8N1. gets confusing as the radios blink as though all is ok but the FMX fails to accept the signal.

radio should plug into pins 3 & 5 (earth) on port D of the FMX. you can go into agremote on the GPS diagnostic screen to set the port preferences.

i have a leica base on CMR connected to a PCC radio set to 450s with which the internal 430/470 FMX radios work ok.

450mhz internal radios are made by PCC so are the same but i read on here the 900mhz radios are different
