| Precip maps are reallly decieving. Rain has been spotty to say the least. Henry, Mercer, Knox, co IL has been overall DRY! May and June were both dry. Anywhere from no rain to 2" for July until yesterday (7/19). Around 1" here yesterday and last night. That system was pretty large, and looks like it should really help N IL. Crops are under a lot of stress, but surprisingly don't look awfull. We haven't had the extreme heat they are getting farther west. I would look for average to below average yeilds if we get normal weather for Aug. | |
