You'll have to check with JD on using your current GPS. The should have an adapter to use it.
You may be able to find some good used JD hardware to log your yield data. You will also need JD's mapping software keycard (harvest doc) that retails for aroud $450. Hopefully you can find this used as well. I just sold a system this summer for 60% of retail.
