Filling rear ends on a Mack truck with Mack rearends

Subject: Filling rear ends on a Mack truck with Mack rearends

What's the proper way to fill these up when you have three separate drain plugs and fill plugs. Talked to mechanic at Mack and he says all they do is fill carrier housing and the gears sling the oil to top and fill the rest. Is this true? Thanks
