I just let the positions be wrong.
Me too. The local Wal-Mart rotated my tires front to back for $10.00 total. Back when I was younger I would have just done it myself on general principle. Now that I'm old $10 seems like a bargain. They had an additional charge for relearning the tire sensors. I just left them alone. When the dash said that the Right Front was low, I knew it was really the Right Rear.
My current Silverado has a stripped down dash as compared the one I had before. With the older Silverado, I could check the actual tire pressure on the dash by using the menu. On the newer one, I cannot read the actual tire pressure but it will tell me when one is low. When I still subscribed to On-Star I would get a monthly email with the tire pressures. Seemed sort of strange that they knew my tire pressure but I didn't unless I used a gauge. |
