Marianna Arkansas | That's the way it has seemed in this area for the last 30 years. Early Jan sometimes has lower prices if you are buying but not all years.
Could be a regional thing but in Dec people are still shutting down, hunting, figuring what they are going to do. Mid Jan comes and everybody is ready to work. Feb comes and everyone has their money and wants to get things bought before going to the field in Mar.
Until recently mid March to April sales were soft to very cheap because everyone had done what they wanted or were in the field. Last four or five years that has changed and those sales have been stronger. | |
