Northeast Nebraska | Boone & Crockett - 12/8/2013 04:25 I too have a warmed up 1066 that I just love to haul loads with. Healthiest tractor on the farm and just fun to drive down the road. One thing I cuss tho, are those 2 steps. Not much room between fender/tire and sometimes getting down the t/a lever will catch my coat or pockets and rip em wide open. Sure there is a better aftermarket step? Where to look? Also parking brake does not function too well. What is involved in r&r park brake? Always enjoy your pics of a super nice operation.
Abilene Machine has a decent step kit. I added one to my 1256 this fall. Better than the old factory 2 steps but not as nice as what they have for getting onto New Generation Deeres. Still decent though and I would add them again, yes.
