western colorado | Have a ran a little bit of everything. Prefer the stick for repairs it never jams and never needs gas. For production style projects I like running dual shield mig (gas with flux core) you'll get almost double the penetration with the same speed. If your dead set on a MIg make sure you can run gas with it. You don't have to but it sure welds a lot nicer with it. A lot less splatter and mess to clean up. | |
