Have fun changing the filter lol. I did mine last weekend and had to take the tire and inner wheel well off to get to the filter. Then it was easy to get to. I had to prime it a few times after changing it to get it run again. They must be really confident in the fuel filter life indicator if they make it that hard to get to when changing.
Pop the air intake tube off and they can be changed from the top.
Tire doesnt have to come off for fender well removal but some ppeople like the room.
Ever change a fuel filter on a 6.7 Cummins in a ram? Its no better.
There are companies that sell "filter doors" if you eish yo install one in your fender well. |
