I suspect if the temp is that cold, the sunflowers will be freeze dried in the field. We have harvested sunflowers in October that were 5 points above dry and we just left the fan on for 2 months. All came out dry. The humidity of the air is pretty low at -25 Celsius and they dry very quickly then.
