Northwest, Ohio | With added weights it can penetrate almost any soil. Poly seeding units work well and are adjustable individually if some seed more or less than others. Durable unit. Downside: the operator needs to compensate for changing soil types thru the field to insure seeds are placed correctly depth wise. If you have soils that vary from hard clays to soft sand, you must not lose focus or the seeds will end up on top or in China. If you no till into corn stalks and in between the rows, the soil is lower, those seeds may end up shallower. Seeds that get sown directly into the stalk row will vary in depth (as with most any notill planter due to unit bounce, etc.)
