Don't want to hijack the thread but I was wondering the same thing switching to John Deere Hy-guard that I buy using bulk delivery from sloans for most of my equipment but have a couple red combines and a 9230 tractor that I have continued to use Hytran in. I'm sure if the hygaurd works in green power shifts and hydros it would surely be ok in red.
