NeilJR,

Best place to mount the antenna is as close as possible over the vertical center of the front axle. This can be accomplished by manufacturing a bracket to extend forward from the front top of the cab. At this point the antenna will experience the least side-to-side oscillation and will still have best view of the satellites from horizon to horizon. one word of caution, this location is not the best if you do not have a system with some sort of tilt compensation and you farm in hilly land. Without tilt compensation an increase in antenna height will accentuate horizontal error.
