Subject: Seed coating question, would it work?

Sumner GA, Located in southwest GA,
Talking to a neighbor this evening on bulk fill planters. They would kinda like to get one, but it would be used to plant peanuts, the impression here is that peanuts will simply not handle being blown around, will just end up with a lot of splits, same reason Cyclo planters never caught on here. I am wondering if there is a coating you could put on peanut seed, like the coating on a medicine pill or something similar, that you could apply to the seed to hold it together. Would have to be water soluble of course, but would it work? I have no skin in the game, but it would be a real boon if it did exist, or might already? Am I crazy or is it possible?
