Bloomfield, KY. | I seem to need both row cleaners & coulters in DCSBs. I am a holdout in favor of coulters on this forum, but they don't do all that great in straw without cleaners moving most of the straw out of the way. Maybe if my combine did a little better job of chopping the straw it would help!
I don't understand why coulters get all the blame for sidewall problems in ground that is too wet. I would think it is the disc openers that do most of the smearing and compacting.
