Subject: Broadcasting beans or Drill with conventional grain drill

Been wet and getting late to plant beans but think of taking a chance or call it quites and return the seed.

Ground will need to be disked before the drill. Since soil has alot of moisture from heavy rain and waiting to dry to soil conditions are ideal to plant with drill, which may not happen, I had a idea to maybe save time to get seed out and trips across the field. If ground gets dry enough to disc without soil sticking and balling up on disc blades. Broadcast beans with spreader, then disk over lightly. Maybe mix some starter fertilizer in with seed or wait until beans emerge to see if there is a good stand.

Broadcasting good idea or not?

Return seed since its late or try to plant?
