We do a lot of flood irrigating and it should work if it won't take much money to level. We just had about a 48 acre rectangle done and put it in 4 12 acre boarder dikes and built a ditch on one end and run the water over the ditch stopping the water with culverts ar each boarder dike. Boarder dikes are built with a very slight grade away from the ditch.
