Southeastern Kansas | We had an extremely wet Spring and had narrow windows to get it applied. Did a great job for about 4 weeks. After June 20 the pigweeds came in waves, some low spots almost solid. Had we had a more normal season we would have had the beans in earlier and might have reduced the weed flushes. Our biggest issue with pre emerge is running out of time before the beans get big enough to shade the ground. Weak on morning glory vine and cocklebur as they along with the pigweed were the first to germinate. About as good as anything else we have tried, it just needs to last longer in our conditions. | |
