2 years ago we had 98% of our corn crop get snapped off about 4 inches off the ground. Luckily it was during fill. We had one small field away from here that was not effected that bad. It still had several acres that were flat and dead but it averaged 173 over the whole field. The corn that was snapped sideways made 92 and the corn that was snaped along the rows averaged 30 even though we were shelling cross ways.

It was a real b**ch getting the corn crop out. Never want to go through that again. Of course last year we had a massive drought and I never want to go through that again. It was worse than the '07 drought.

ya I guess you can say we pretty much have lots of luck....bad luck! lol
