Little River, TX
in the Central Area of Central Texas we are about 80% of the to date average rainfall. and June is running at less than average for this month.

Actually agriculture is in reasonably good shape, it is the towns water systems that are in danger, right now.

The Cow Calf operator appears to be ok, at least they are not "Having" to buy hay like they did a year or two ago. A good bit of culling has helped the forage situation.

That said this high shrink soil has done just that and has showing shrinking cracks. This is good IF we have a tropical storm come through the water will all run down the cracks and recharge the deeper soil moisture. It will require a tropical system to refill the lakes and stock ponds.
The rains you saw on radar were isolate or at best scattered. Meaning a few got a good rain, some had some moisture and a few did not have a spit in the bucket.
