Kingdom of Callaway - Fulton, Mo 65251 | I tried out a crustbuster drill I recently bought on 60 acres yesterday. #2 son drilled with grandpa's trusty version in the field next to me to help beat the rain. I only planned to try it out so I did not get the seed wagon. It worked so well I went ahead and finished. I got to know the blue five gallon bucket way too well using it to scoop two totes of beans into the drills!
We pulled out of the field and were coming through a cow pasture when rain started to hit the hood.
We have an old photo of me back in the early 80's disking the field we just planted. It has been in hay ever since. Can you guess what tractor and disk I am driving and for extra credit what are those things in the background of the old photo?
