New Madrid, MO | I used it several years ago !! Don't let em get too much of it...... they will bloat !!! Started feeding it instead of cotton seed meal , cotton seed hulls & corn. Couple of days later my biggest best steer had 4 hoves in the air. I didn't know what it was until I had several die ( All healthy steers). Fed one day & watched closely & the bigger ones were knocking others out of the way getting more than they should. I'm not sure what the ration was but we were putting quite a bit in with corn. University of Missouri feed guy figured up the ration. Wasn't my idea to change ration........... just doing what I was told !!!! (Cheapen) things up !!!!! Out of 500 head of steers that winter I think I lost 16. Boy was I pissed !!!!!!!!
Imight be able to find exactly what my ration was . Let me know if ya want it !!!!
