I am curious if all the upgrades in firmware are neccessary in all cases. I have an FMX running a NAV II controller. All I use it for currently is steering. On the fmx i am running version 6.5.65583. The NAV controller is version 5.12. IS there a reason I should upgrade to current versions? I have heard that in the past there was conflicts at how some firmwares would conflict. Currently in my situation there are no conflicts. In the future I may unlock the second receiver to use implement steering and perhaps do some product monitoring.
