Tip of the Thumb of Michigan | You can add as many headland patterns as you want in an open field. You will have set your internal just like always with the new headland. I have fields that are split by a creek and go that route instead of creating 2 separate fields in the monitor. All my fields are headland patterned. I love them for some reason. Sucks that you need autopilot to engage on outside line. I have one autopilot and miss it with my ezsteer. One feature that it took a while for me to find was the pause headland button. Anytime you pause and unpause you get a straight line between those 2 points. On your straight side I hit my A and then pause the headland, then when you get to the other end unpause and hit your B. that will create a straight headland line on the headland straight side. Works better when your not actually planting on that straight side pass as the subsiquent passes won't match the hand steered pass. |
