We ran/run a Trimble 442 and a 542 Base. They are about the same, the 442 requires a unlock to do glonass while the newer 542 model comes factory with glonass. new price on the 542 is 12,000 without a tripod to set it up.
I may know of a used 442 for sale for about 7500-8500 range. If interested email and I can check into it for you.
