| I know exactly what you mean, but if you don't spread the fertilizer it only costs you more. I can make more money fertilizing land I own than having twice the land that I don't fertilize with less than half the production. Just got to suck it up and take the blows and hope our commodity prices compensate us for it. We weaned the smallest crop of calves in the US since the 1950's this year, so we shouldn't have too much of a long term oversupply to strangle our prices. Just be glad you aren't into hogs!
