I have no idea, but there's been a lot of talk here about it lately.

I look at it this way. Deere's not in the petroleum lubricant refining business (AFAIK), so they have to hire it out to someone that is.

Have you ever heard of someone bidding out a job to the highest bidder? No, it just doesn't work that way. If you've got to bid out a job, of course it goes to the low bidder. A lot of people have jumped to the irrational conclusion that being made by the low bidder means the same thing as being made to cheap specifications.
